Terms of service

1. About us

amoora.co.uk is run by AMOORA, a UK sole trader business ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at orders@amoora.co.uk.

2. These terms

These terms apply to your use of our website and to any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of them.

3. Your legal rights

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to goods that are faulty or not as described, and the right to cancel most orders within 14 days (our Refund Policy gives you 30 days to return most items). Nothing in these terms affects those rights. Advice about your legal rights is available from Citizens Advice.

4. Placing an order

When you place an order, you'll receive an email acknowledging it. This does not mean we have accepted it. Our acceptance takes place, and a contract between us is formed, when we email you to confirm dispatch. If we can't accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock or there is an error in the price or description, we'll tell you and won't charge you (or will refund you in full if you've already paid).

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

5. Personalised items

For personalised items, please check names, dates, spellings and any custom wording carefully before ordering. We will produce the item using the details you give us. If an item contains a mistake that was in the details you supplied, it won't be treated as faulty. If the mistake is ours, we'll put it right at no cost to you.

6. Products

We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may look slightly different on screen from in real life, and handmade or natural items may vary a little from the images shown. Packaging may also vary.

7. Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we discover a pricing error that is obvious and unmistakable, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

8. Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery costs and estimated timescales are set out in our Shipping Policy. Items are our responsibility until they are delivered to you, and you own them once we have received payment in full.

9. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your right to cancel and how we deal with returns and refunds are set out in our Refund Policy.

10. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We supply products for domestic and private use only and are not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier disruption, severe weather or supplier failure. If this happens, we'll contact you as soon as possible, and if there is a significant delay you may cancel and receive a refund for anything you've paid for but not received.

12. Using our website

All content on this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission. You must not misuse the website, for example by introducing viruses or attempting to gain unauthorised access.

13. Your personal information

We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order applies to that order.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your home courts. If you have a problem, please contact us first at orders@amoora.co.uk and we'll do our best to resolve it.
